I have a 14" tinted Windvest windshield It looks awesome and I don't even know it's on the bike except for less wind and bugs in my face. It has a billet chrome aluminum crossbar that keeps it stable. It's very easy to put on and remove but I'll probably never remove it. The acrylic is 5mm thick. Very sturdy and nice looking. The same shield would fit my husbands Dyna Wide Glide. He's always asking me to trade-he likes it much better than his Harly shield. Can be found at windvest.com. Sorta pricey but worth it.
